At 25:40, Stig finishes the show alone due to a technical gaff but shares what is new for the week for both himself and Bill.

Show 74 starts with Bill and Stig giving a brief discussion what’s coming up on the week’s show including RNC and DNC conventions, judicial decisions, and sports.

At 3:59, Stig begins the discussion on the political conventions with trouble finding the speeches on audio. Stig continues talking about music usage in the RNC Convention including a statement by Brian May of Queen. Bill adds his perspective and some things he viewed throughout the week.

At 16:07, Bill talks about two judicial rulings, one about voter ID law and one concerning birth certificates. Stig tell about Governor Greg Abbott demanding the University of Houston’s participation in the Big 12.

At 25:10, Stig starts the sports segment with the streaking Astros. Stig also notes the passing of former Dallas Cowboy star, Robert Newhouse. Stig then discusses the heat at the most recent Dynamo game.
