Show 82 starts with Stig and Bill disclosing their beer choices for the week and what’s coming up on the show for this week.

At 3:42, Stig and Bill start the discussion on the weeks’ political news mostly concerning the second Presidential debate. Along the way, body mechanics are discussed along with millionaire’s tax returns. Bill makes comparisons between Donald Trump and Ted Cruz.

At 16:50, Stig turns the show to happier news with the Depressed Cake sale which was held last week. There was also some amusement with the Deep Eddy Vodka ambassador being a look-a-like. Stig and Bill then discuss the weeks sports news in an abbreviated segment.

At 25:42, Bill and Stig trade notes on all the upcoming events on their calendars. Bill is ready for Echo and the Bunnymen. Elvis Costello plays Revention. Java Muses favorite, Thrill, play the Hellcat Cafe. Also this weekend, the Taste of the Caribbean and the Korean Festival along with the Brazilian Festival on Sunday.

At 30:11, Stig adds to the calendar the Moonlight Ramble on October 22nd. Also on the same day, Tacolandia! compliments of the Houston Press.

At 34:52, Bill brings OPEC news to the table. For the new things this week, Stig goes cerebral with being happy with his work, Bill covers and online comic, Questionable Content.

Show 78 – Thrill Returns, College Football Watching, “Dreamers”

Show 78 starts with a lot of excuses for Stig and what Bill is drinking. An obscure reference to monkeys is dropped and will not be explained this week.

At 4:20, Bill starts a discussion on college football with news of the Texas Allumni watch party at a new bar on Washington – Atlas Pub. There is also a little discussion about the UTEP coach. Stig talks about Alabama and Mississippi.

At 14:22, Stig apologies for editing and Bill fields calls from the big energy companies. Bill explains the term “dreamers” and more oddities from the state government. Stig and Bill then discuss the Texans and Astros. Bill than contemplates Lamar High.

At 25:44, Stig reveals he will not pay to learn anymore. Bill than talks about the recent Thrill performance. Stig then talk just a bit of national politics.


At 33:22, Stig discovers Kaleo the band, Bill has a new word to end the show.

Show 62 – NCAA Tournament and the Jesus Shot

Show 62 starts with a preview of what’s coming up on the show and Stig learns about nitrogen. A few overdue thank you’s are also given out.

At 4:42, Bill talks about the latest state scandal involving a Texas state official who went and got the “Jesus” shot in Oklahoma. Stig discusses a little of the oddities of this years NCAA basketball tournament.

At 18:09, Stig talks about a few odd home runs in baseball/softball games this past week. Stig also gives the sports schedules for April for the Houston sports teams.

At 25:28, Bill pulls the curtain back on our recording environment. He also talks about the CD release by Thrill and a new restaurant review. Stig’s wife replaces his 80’s boom box.
